  PAYMENT:​

  Industry average crew tip ranges from 15-30% and is paid in cash or EFT to the captain who divides it

  Transient fee per hour to be picked-up at a different location

  DEPOSIT:

  If the departure date is >120 days away, 50% is due at booking and 50% due by April 1.

  Full payment is due at booking when departure date is within 120 days.

  Once booked, the boat is taken off the market and is 100% yours

  No-cost changing dates is only allowed if & when we find a replacement party to take your day.

  E. HAMPTON DEPARTURE:

  From May 1st. through October 15

  NOTE:  

  Please text your captain when 10 minutes prior to ETA for assistance to unload & board

  We always depart and bring you back to the same spot/dock.

  If you wish to stay on Shelter Island beyond 4 hours we can drop you off & you then can Uber or Taxi​

  WEATHER/CANCELATION POLICY:
 We have a no-rain & small craft advisory policy, so we do not set sail if it is currently raining, or imminent rain                   forecast. We obviously care about your safety, so we'll not set sail in inclement weather & during any small craft                 advisory.  We generally make those decisions 2-hours before sailing time. If our captain decides not to set sail that             day, due to rain or if a small craft advisory is in effect, you will have the option to reschedule & receive rain date for    a   period of 28 months. This allows you 3 summer seasons to reschedule.  We will apply your payment & you will                     receive that credit to sail again.

 

  Once a client books a boat, we notify all subsequent inquiries that “the boat is taken & unavailable. For this reason, we      do not offer any refund on cancellations. If you cancel a reservation up to 90 days before your sail date, we do allow a        no-cost change date.  Inclement weather as stated above is the sole reason for any cancellation.

   

  DEPOSIT POLICY:
  Full payment is due at booking. Dates/times can be changed when you notify us in wring of your request > 90 days            before sailing date.  If booking in January, February or March we we allow 50% deposit these months.
